We're Hiring  : SENIOR AUCTIONEER

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Bletsoes Market team. The successful individual will be involved with the day-to-day efficient running of the Auctioneering department and co-ordination of all auctions and will be supported by the wider Market team.

Thrapston Livestock Market operates on a Thursday (prime stock) and Saturday (store & breeding), with monthly collective machinery sales at our purpose-built all-weather sale centre and regular on-farm sales. Bletsoes have operated auctions at Thrapston for almost 150 years, and the Partners remain committed to auctioneering and providing an excellent service to market users across the region.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3 years + role as an auctioneer
• Experience managing the running of a livestock market and/or machinery sales
• Ability to lead a team, with strong organisational skills
• A self-motivated and flexible outlook, with an overall positive approach
• Good communication, both oral and written
• Conscientious work ethic, with a “can do” attitude
