We’re Hiring: Auction Administrator
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are re-advertising our Auction Administrator role and are seeking an enthusiastic and well-organised individual to join our Auctioneering team.
This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key administrative role within our busy Auctioneering department. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks generated by the activity of our livestock market and machinery auctions department, while also providing support to the Auction Accounts Administrator.
About the Role
The Auction Administrator will play an important part in the smooth running of our operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong administrative support across the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing administration tasks arising from livestock market and machinery auction activity
- Supporting the Auction Accounts Administrator with day-to-day processes
- Maintaining accurate records and handling data entry and management tasks
- Assisting with accounts-related administration
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has an interest in agriculture and rural affairs, with good knowledge of livestock
- Has experience using accounts packages, Microsoft Office, and Publisher
- Is confident handling data management and basic accounts processes
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Has strong written and verbal communication skills
- Can organise, prioritise, and manage workloads effectively
- Is self-motivated, hardworking, and maintains a positive attitude
- Works well as part of a team and brings enthusiasm to the role
- Is confident, approachable, and well presented
Desirable Experience
We welcome applications from individuals currently working as a Farm Secretary or in a similar administrative role. Previous experience in a comparable position would be beneficial, however the key requirements are strong agricultural knowledge, excellent administrative ability, and a high level of numerical accuracy.
