Small Grant Scheme

Small Grant Scheme

The long awaited second application window for the Countryside Productivity Small Grants Scheme is now open, and closes at midday on Tuesday 3rd September 2019.

The grant offers funding for a variety of agricultural equipment, which is set out in Annex 3 of the Application Handbook, click here.

  • Grants are 40% of the standard cost, for a minimum grant of £3,000 up to a maximum grant of £12,000
  • The standard cost is a fixed price that the government will pay a grant towards, therefore there is no need to provide a quote
  • All items applied for must be bought within 150 days of the Agreement being offered
  • The price is based on new items only (ex-display, ex-demo, second hand, part exchange items are not eligible)
  • You can buy items that exceed the specification, but you will only receive a grant based on the standard cost
  • You must have sufficient funds to pay for items upfront before receiving the grant money

If you applied for Round 1 but did not reach the £12,000 maximum grant, you can apply again for Round 2, however the total value of both applications must not be more than £12,000.

The Application is completed online and should only take around 10-15 minutes. If you require any assistance with completing an application, please contact one of the Agricultural Team on 01832 732241.
