Partner: Christopher T Bletsoe FRICS,FAAV
Christopher is the senior partner and has been a Chartered Surveyor and farmer for over 40 years. He was until recently, the principal agricultural auctioneer and still sells occasionally. He specialises in agricultural law and taxation, compulsory acquisition and agricultural valuations. He enjoys the occasional knotty problem and the fellowship of the livestock market.
 
Partner: Alistair Y Brodie BSc, FRICS,FAAV
Alistair is the partner in charge of the firm’s Planning, Development and Commercial department. Alistair was brought up on a North Bedfordshire dairy and arable farm. With over twenty five years experience in dealing with planning authorities and developers. Alistair provides specialist advice on sites for residential and commercial development, including options and promotion agreements .
 
Partner: David H Bletsoe MA, DipArb,MRICS, FAAV, MCIArb
After graduating from Cambridge University, David qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1993 and joined the firm in 1999. He has subsequently undertaken a two-year Diploma in Arbitration Law. David specialises in agricultural law and taxation, agricultural valuations, compulsory acquisition, telecommunications masts and the purchase of farms for clients.
 
Associate: Nicola J Clayton-Bailey BSc (Hons), MRICS, FAAV
Nicola grew up on her parent’s arable and sheep farm in Bedfordshire. She joined the firm after graduating from Harper Adams in 1994. Nicola specialises in sales of land and farms, Single Payment Scheme, Environmental Stewardship applications, and agricultural tenancy work including successions and rent reviews.
 
Associate: Andrew C Middleditch BSc (Hons), MRICS
Andrew joined the firm in 1989 after graduating from Reading University. Andrew specialises in planning and development related work, including planning applications, appeal submissions, local and structure plan representation, development land sales, development feasibility and appraisals, option and promotion agreements.
 
Associate: James Sealy BSc (Hons), MRICS, FAAV
James grew up on the family smallholding in Dorset. Following graduating from Harper Adams in 2004 he rejoined the firm and became qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2005. James specialises in Single Payment Scheme and Environmental Stewardship, sales of land and farms, road schemes and pipelines.
 
Auctioneer: Brian S Pile
Brian is a livestock farmer’s son with over 30 years experience in all forms of livestock auctioneering, especially prime lambs and cattle, calves, store cattle, sheep and certain pedigree breeds as well as farm machinery. Brian joined the firm in 2002 having previously sold at Henley- In-Arden, Banbury and Northampton - have gavel will travel!
 
Development Surveyor: Peter Moore MSc MRICS FAAV
Following graduation from Reading University, Peter went on to secure a Masters Degree from The Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester. Peter trained with a large Rural Estate in North West Cambridgeshire, followed by 4 years working in South Lincolnshire. Peter joined the firm in 2007 and specialises in all aspects of development land including planning promotion work and planning applications as well as advising on the marketing and sale of development land, including options and promotion agreements.
 
Residential: Chris Beeby DipREA FNAEA MARLA
Now in his 27th year in Residential Estate Agency Chris has wide range of experience dealing with all types of property and property related problems. Chris joined Bletsoe Estate Agents from Savills and had previously been with Andrew Granger & Co. for many years. Chris is a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents and was one of the first Estate Agents in the country to obtain the National Association’s Diploma in Residential Estate Agency. Chris is also a member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents. Chris is married with two children.
 
Agricultural Surveyor: David Hicks BSc(Hons) MRICS FAAV

Having graduated from Seale Hayne Agricultural College (University of Plymouth) David qualified as a Rural Practice Chartered Surveyor in 1999 while working for a firm of Rural Surveyors and Auctioneers in the South West.  David moved to the Eastern Counties in 2000 and has been acting for clients across Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire for both a small rural practice and more recently a large regional firm before joining the team in June 2009. David will be providing a broad range of professional services with a focus on rural & equestrian property agency, valuations, compensation and single payment scheme advice. Outside of the office David is active in equestrian sport and regularly competes his own horse at horse trials.
